India’s richest man, who is also the fourth richest in the world, Mukesh Ambani along with his wife and three children has recently moved into their newly constructed home – $1 billion mansion in Mumbai. Named Anitlla, after a mythical Island, the entire structure is 27 stories high, contains a health club with a gym and dance studio, at least one studio, a ballroom, guestrooms and a range of lounges and a 50 seater cinema. All of this for a family of five. Of course, there are 600 servants to pamper them.

The house has an elevated garden with ceiling space to accommodate small trees. The roof has three helicopter pads and there is also underground parking for 160 cars. From the top floors of the 173m high property are spectacular views of Mumbai, the Arabian Sea and the slums!

Ambani, who owns much of Reliance Industries, the oil, retail and biotechnologies conglomerate, is worth £18bn.

  13. That house/building is gross and looks unstable. I would take living with the peasants or even pheasants for that matter.
