The spectacular view atop an abandoned TV tower in the city of Kostroma, Russia, which is supposedly 350 meters tall according to the photographer.

The Wing Bowl is an annual chicken wing eating contest that was founded in 1993 by two Philadelphia radio hosts, Al Morganti and Angelo Cataldi. The Wing Bowl that began as a radio promotion has grown into an extremely competitive and exciting tradition in Philadelphia. The Wing Bowl is usually held on the Friday preceding the Super Bowl and every one of the major Philadelphia television stations covers the event live. This year the event took place on January 30.

If these images had come with no accompanying description, you would have mistaken them to be black and white photographs or some Photoshop trick. I wouldn’t have believed it either if I hadn’t found them on her website. The artist Linda Huber uses graphite pencils to create drawings that has an uncanny realism in them. Many of her original work and prints are for sale on her site. Check it out if you are interested.

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) air show which lasted four days starting from January 28 till January 31, was hosted in the city of in Al-Ain. The air show saw some of the world’s best aviation acrobats take to the sky from countries has far and wide as Russia, USA and Hungary including performers from the Arab Emirates, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Lithuania, Pakistan and other countries.

Wait for Walk is a photo series by German photographer Florian Bohm, where he photographs passersby standing before traffic signals at New York: motionless or fidgeting, lost in thought or deep in conversation, staring at nothing or sidetracked by a cell phone, chosen for him and posed for him by chance. Bohm’ series reveals an astonishing wealth of information in a everyday moment so banal as waiting at the traffic signal.
