Oxford University students’ naked calendar

A group of daredevil students from the Oxford University agreed to pose for a saucy naked calendar to raise money for poverty-stricken third world countries. Their antics have caused something of a stir with their straight-laced tutors, since all the scenes were shot in Oxford's most famous historic locations.

One surprised college warden said the £10 calendar had embarrassed traditionalists at the alma mater of Einstein, Stephen Hawking and 25 British Prime Ministers.

Vintage Tattoos

The practice of tattooing is older than you thought. According to Wikipedia:

Tattooing has been a Eurasian practice at least since around Neolithic times. An Iceman, dating from the fourth to fifth millennium BC, was found in the Ötz valley in the Alps and had approximately 57 carbon tattoos consisting of simple dots and lines on his lower spine, behind his left knee, and on his right ankle. Other mummies bearing tattoos and dating from the end of the second millennium BC have been discovered, such as the Mummy of Amunet from Ancient Egypt and the mummies at Pazyryk on the Ukok Plateau.

The following pictures aren’t from the Neolithic age, of course, but don’t be surprised if you see your great great grandfather here.

Cooper's Hill Cheese-Rolling Competition

Cooper's Hill Cheese-Rolling is a crazy game. In this annual event a round of Double Gloucester cheese is rolled down the Cooper’s Hill, near Gloucester in the Cotswolds region of England, and competitors flung themselves at it, racing down the steep hillside. The first person to catch the cheese or reach the finish line wins the cheese.

No event is complete without ladies to grace the occasion. When the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2009 kicked off this week, one of the biggest attractions were the offerings from big game houses like Ubisoft, EA Games, Microsoft, Nintendo and of course, the booth babes! Those who couldn’t make it to the live event, here are some pictures for consolation.
