Why guys should fix their own homes?

Would you prefer walking in on the electrician or plumber getting it on with your wife, or would you rather do it yourself?

That is the plot of this shockingly funny ad campaign for Leroy Merlin, one of Europe’s top do-it-yourself (DIY) and home improvement retail brands.

Better fix your own home guys!

24 Weeks of Pregnancy in 24 Pictures

Photographer Ryan Marshall, with apparent permission from his wife, took one picture each week of her advancing through the stages of her pregnancy. Apparently, they were also doing some kind of fashion modeling for a clothing store called “American Apparel” who provided them with different outfits for the photo shoots. Whatever, this “maternity series” is beautiful.

The photos start at week 17 when the bulge began to show.

100 year anniversary of automobile company Audi (A photo story)

On July 16th, 2009, Audi AG celebrated its 100th Anniversary of existence. A century ago, automotive pioneer August Horch founded August Horch Automobilwerke GmbH in Zwickau, Germany. A short time later he renamed the company after the Latin translation of his last name – making it Audi Automobilwerke.

Dear Diary – A computer embedded in a desk

Dear Dairy is a computer embedded in a traditional wooden desk, a wooden keyboard laser cut into and out of the surface of the desk with a screen to match. It also has Topsecret USB Stick, which made of porcelain and silicone. Designer Marlies Romberg explains;

Personally, I am fascinated by how the world is changing into a digital world. To me it seems that; the digital world is personal but not private at all. For example, when I Google to find information about a friend, I will most likely find information about his life, his pets, his company and maybe a review on a digital camera that he has recently written. Notice that the digital verb 'Googling' has recently got the status of a real verb in the Netherlands. Just another example how the two worlds become one.

Fashion Show Oops (or How to break your ankle)

If you came here expecting to see a few wardrobe malfunction and nip slips, then sorry to disappoint you – there is none. This photo series is about those ridiculously high heeled shoes that tall lanky models catwalk on so effortlessly, or so it seems. The truth is, it requires great practice, concentration and balance to keep themselves perched on top of these. A little distraction or a slight fumble, and down they come crashing. Forget the embarrassment, they will be lucky if they can get away without a broken ankle.

The Flat Streets of San Francisco

The city of San Francisco is famous for it's hills and impossibly inclined streets. But what would San Francisco be without its steep hills? Photographer Dan Ng attempts to “level” the streets of San Francisco by photographing it with a tilted camera, resulting in an altogether unique gallery of the city.
