CT Scan Art from human body parts
Dr Kai-hung Fung, a 56 year old doctor working at Pamela Youde Nethersole Easter Hospital in Hong Kong, forges the ultimate integration between art and science. Using state-of-the art technology Dr Fung scans various organs of his patients using a 3D computed tomography (CT) machine and turns them into masterpieces.

Inside a cricket bat manufacturing workshop
Cricket bats are manufactured mainly from English willow, a kind of cultivated timber which grows in large plantations in wetland areas throughout Essex, Suffolk and Norfolk. Each tree is individually planted by hand and during its natural life-span, the willow will be tended by the grower to ensure that the tree will be suitable for bat making. For each willow that is felled, two new trees are planted. In this way the industry, countryside and the actual species are protected.

Obscene interiors: Ever noticed the backgrounds in porn?
A few years ago, South African artist Von Brandis, published an amusing photo set on Flickr called “Obscene Interiors”. Von Brandis collected vintage porn pictures he found on the Internet and removed the actors from these, allowing people to focus on the interior design in the background instead. The various position are discernible from the outlines of the white silhouettes but the details are missing.

Incredible faces created out of crumpled clothes
Artist Bela Borsodi arranged a piles of designer shirts, dresses, jumpers, jeans and coats and transformed them into bizarre faces, before photographing them. The photographs became a part of the recently organized 'Fashion Faces' exhibition, in Berlin.
