Giant Sand Art by Jim Denevan

Jun 16, 2010 1 comments

Santa Cruz, CA-based artist Jim Denevan makes freehand drawings in sand, laboring up to seven hours and walking for as many as 30 miles to create massive artwork using no measuring aids whatsoever. Sometime Jim uses vehicles to create patterns out of tire-tracks. Sadly, Jim’s creations are temporary as they are eventually erased by waves, rain and weather.
