A 50-foot spider, dubbed "La Princess", made its debut on Sept 2, shocking British commuters, who emerged from a railroad station to see the three-story critter clutching the side of one of Liverpool's biggest buildings. The 37 tonne construction was made in Nantes, France out of steel and poplar wood by an arts collective called La Machinea, a team comprising of 350 people.
