Grocery Stores at Night by Richard Vantielcke

French photographer Richard Vantielcke prowls the night on the streets of Paris looking for late night grocery stores for his photographic series titled “Urban Oasis”. In his words:

I always enjoyed these grocery stores open late at night, first of all because they often saved the life of a starving photographer, then because they all look more surreal as each other, becoming oasis of light in the darkness of the Parisian night.

“Urban Oasis” reminds me of Matt Barnes’s Deserted Gas Stations.
